Choose to Eat Better for a Healthier Heart

As anybody who has ever tried to lose weight knows, making good eating choices can be very difficult. But it's one of the best ways to reduce your risk of heart disease.

Dietary fads come and go, but heart-healthy eating involves some pretty basic decisions. Choose foods that are loaded with vitamins, minerals, fiber, antioxidants and phytochemicals, lean proteins, and healthy fats. Ideally, this means choosing "whole foods" closest to their natural state and limiting processed, convenience-type foods. And a heart-healthy diet doesn't have to be boring! With diligence and a little creativity, we can help you love what you eat – while loving your heart at the same time.
